This year, we're proud to have been selected as a host school for sharing best practice in the DfE Regional Improvement for Standards & Excellence (RISE) programme.

In March, we were delighted to host visitors from 8 schools across London and beyond, together with guests from Islington Council and the DfE.

It was great to connect with our visitors, who included Deputy Headteachers, Assistant Headteachers, a Head of Attendance, Director of Inclusion and RISE Advisor. The events included tours of the school, classroom visits, and presentations from senior leaders – and we were impressed by the searching questions and feedback offered by our guests.

RISE Advisor Annie Gammon writes,

'It was very inspiring, and good to see how vision, determination, collaboration, attention to detail and humanity (and many more aspects) come together to create a great educational setting. You do so much for your children.

I shall certainly be singing your school’s praises and drawing on your practice as I talk about achieving and thriving.'

Thank you to Annie and the DfE for including us in their programme, and to all our thoughtful and engaged visitors.
