Our Vision And Values

Hive Education is a not-for-profit, Multi Academy Trust established in 2018. Our vision is to nurture young people to become high achievers who will find their vocation in a global society. We place the highest value on developing students who are both happy and successful.

We believe that working in partnership enriches us all. The Hive team have over 100 years experience as senior leaders in education; we know your team has amazing experience too. We don’t believe in taking over. Instead, we’re committed to pooling our strengths with yours, giving real practical support and offering guidance when called upon.

We are proud to be a diverse and inclusive community and we welcome all schools that share our values – whether faith-based or secular, at all stages of development.

How We Work With You.

Our approach is flexible and collaborative. First, we’ll meet with your team to discuss your needs, work through the benefits and challenges ahead, and identify a way forward together. We envisage each partner school keeping its own separate identity within a Hive family of shared values – but we are open to discussing what you feel works best for your school.

Like the honey bees from which we take our name, we will work tirelessly to support you as a vital part of our whole community. Like those bees, we’ll maintain our keen sense of direction, as we focus on the challenges facing your busy school. At Hive, we’ll work collaboratively with you to get things done.

Our approach can be summed up by the words of Nelson Mandela, ‘Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, that a son of a mineworker can become the head of the mine, that a child of farm workers can become the president of a great nation. It is what we make out of what we have, not what we are given that separates one person from another.’

We invite you to join us – and thrive.

Meet The Team.
